Tired of the caf? Don’t want to cook at home?
Or (like all college students) need some low cost fuel?

The Didde Center wants to feed you.

Sunday Brunch

Every week, the Didde Center students and staff serve up a great free brunch in the social hall after Mass (usually starting around 11AM). Everyone's welcome!

Dollar Dinners

Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) gain community service hours by volunteering to cook dinner at the Didde Center for all who are interested. “Dollar Dinners” take place on various evenings after the 7pm Sunday Mass and on Thursday at 6:30pm. The meals are delicious and only cost $1.00! Please check the bulletin and listen to the announcements for upcoming “Dollar Dinner” dates. If your RSO is interested in serving a meal, please contact us.

Finals Flapjack Feast

At the end of each semester, all students are invited to take a break from studying to enjoy a pancake dinner on the Sunday of Finals week. Watch the Bulletin as the semester comes to a close for reminders about this fun event.

Taco Dinner

Our famous pan-fried tacos make a great meal! Eat here or take an order to go. We accept (and encourage) pre-orders if you'd like to buy tacos for your department or other group! Just contact us with your order ahead of time.

Fish Fry

The Didde Center has an annual fish fry every Lenten season. It is held in the social hall the first Friday of Lent. Volunteers, servers, cooks, and donations are needed for this event. Please check the Bulletin for more information during the beginning of the Lenten season.

Do you enjoy playing sports?

Throughout the year, various intramural sports activities are organized through the Emporia Student Rec Center. In the past, Didde has participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, and dodgeball. You can check out the ESU website to see the upcoming sports. If you are interested in playing on a Didde Intramural sports team, please Contact Us. And bring your game face.

KCCSC provides students with an opportunity to meet other Catholic students from across the state in a weekend of sharing and learning. A different Catholic Campus Center hosts this event every other February. Students go to Mass, listen to speakers, eat great food, dress up for a formal dinner and dance, and grow in fellowship with other college students.

The next will be hosted by Wichita State University in February of 2020. The convention lasts the entire weekend and each time is held in a different location, depending on the Campus host.
